Alan Perry is a poet and editor whose debut poetry chapbook, Clerk of the Dead, was a finalist in the Cathy Smith Bowers Chapbook competition, and released by Main Street Rag Publishing in 2020. The book was recognized as a finalist in the 2022 American Writing Awards in Poetry, and a finalist in the 2022 Best Book Awards in Poetry Chapbooks. His poems have appeared in Tahoma Literary Review, Valparaiso Poetry Review, Third Wednesday, San Pedro River Review, Gyroscope Review, ONE ART, Stone Circle Review, and elsewhere. A Best of the Net nominee, he is a founder and Co-Managing Editor of RockPaperPoem, and a Senior Poetry Editor for Typehouse Magazine. Alan and his wife divide their time between suburban Minneapolis, Minnesota and Tucson, Arizona.
